Abstract

This article examines the semantic features of flower names in modern Uzbek poetry and their role in the formation of poetic meaning. Floral vocabulary constitutes an important part of the natural-world lexicon and possesses considerable semantic and expressive potential in literary discourse. In poetic texts, flower names do not function exclusively as botanical designations; they may also express concepts associated with beauty, youth, time, emotional experience, memory, nature, and human existence.
